Las Vegas Trip

I always love to explore some western parts of United States. Fortunately, I got a February break and spent some fantastic time in Las Vegas. I did not drink wine or play gamblings even everywhere in Vegas is about casino. But my friend and I spent a lot of time walking around the city and enjoyed some fascinating food. I never imagined Vegas's food to be that good.

I am a big sashimi lover and love all kinds of seafood. Although Las Vegas located in somewhat desert, the seafood is super fresh and juicy. I have great seafood in New York Chelsea Market and Hawaii local restaurant. But the quality of the seafood in Vegas truly surprised me, and the price is also quite cheap. My friend and I nearly spent every meal in all-you-can-eat restaurant and both of us felt so fulfilled.

Ohhh, amazing food! The sushi in Vegas is also delicious and fulfilling. Unlike the traditional all-you-can-eat (ayce) restaurants, the Vegas ayce provides exquisite dishes. Seared salmon with Lemon is a must-try!

My favorite sushi is fried Vegas sushi. The cheese, white sauce, fish eggs, and even the scallions, are unforgettable. This type of sushi is hot and crispy, with a mixture taste of seafood, crunchy crusts, and cheese. I felt 70% full after eating 3 pieces, but I still missed it (since I cannot find anything like that in New York or eastern US)!

We also went to some natural parks in Arizona: X Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. However, the weather is super bad because of the sandstorm. It's my first time to see sandstorm and the feeling is not that good. Sandstorm is so serious that each sand is similar to a weapon. It really hurts my skin when the strong wind blows.

The replicate French architectures are quite cool too. If I did not state my location, everyone thought that I went to Paris.

Although the weather is bad and we barely see anything, the splendid nature shows us another side of it. The flow of the canyon is still beautiful and feels like a gentle poem.

This is called Salmon Carpaccio. I am a big fan of salmon sashimi but this Carpaccio smartly added some fresh vegetables, chopped onions and mango, which perfectly balance the uncomfortable greasy favor. Also, look at the color, how pretty this dish is!

More food pics alert! I am a big foodie and love to share beautiful food. I consider each dish as a piece of artwork! My friend love this innovative salmon spring roll, which surprisingly contains seaweed salads. The dipping sauce is also tasty and creamy. The innovative mixture of freshness and creaminess surprises us.

Sunny weather. Can't imagine to see the sakura in February.

Last but not least, Vegas is a foodie lover's place. No one will feel disappointed for the food here, even the food critics!
